Lots of trans/NB folks who take T (testosterone) worry about their singing voice in particular. In fact, lots of us delay or even reject T completely for fear of ruining a beautiful singing voice that brings us joy. But does T ruin singing voices? No! A changed/changing voice needs specific care and attention, but it is always possible to sing (and sing well) post voice change. I’m a trans voice coach, and trans singer, with a decade of experience teaching people on T how to sing, and I want to teach you too.
This course will cover singing technique from basic to advanced, for every type of voice at every point in this journey. Each video will explain a part of the voice and how it works, and will include sing-along videos from easy to challenging. Whether you’re pre voice change and curious, right in the thick of it with a really limited range, or fully settled and looking to stretch your voice safely, there’s something for you.
