I’m Zichao (he/him), a trainee vocal coach with Stephen. I’m especially interested in self-expression through voice, both in everyday life as a trans/queer person, as well as in theatre & performance.
Having done voice training myself and greatly benefited, I want to help people confidently explore new facets of vocal expression and find a home in their voice. I have a background in singing with an embodied approach, and like to focus on physicality – what it “feels” like to use your voice.
Outside of vocal work, I’m often found getting involved in improv comedy, partner dance, and other creative activities.
