Hello and welcome to Trans Talent Show, presented by London Trans Choir! Please support our lovely acts by congratulating them, following them on social media, or even buying the a drink. If you’d like to support the choir, you can donate here. We’re a not for profit community group, so every penny goes towards running costs.
Your performers:

London Trans Choir was founded in 2017 as a safe space for trans, non-binary, and gender non conforming people to use their voices. We perform regularly at Trans Talent Show, as well as at various pride events. @trans.voice

Penelope Vivero
Penelope Vivero is a trans folk artist sharing original songs that weave healing, nature, queerness, and revolution into intimate musical offerings. Blending heartfelt vocals, acoustic instrumentation, and moments of communal connection, her performances invite audiences into reflection, tenderness, and joy.

Bhuna Baby
Bhuna Baby is a South-Asian, chronically ill drag performer, whose work blends bold artistry with lived experience to push for visibility and inclusivity in the UK drag scene. As founder of Two Acts of Drag, Please, they help create platforms that centre underrepresented voices.Through their unique perspective and creative leadership, Bhuna Baby continues to expand what drag can be — personal, culturally rooted, and unapologetically authentic

Nikita and Noorulann
Nikita and Noorulann are a disabled south Asian duo who love singing as a way to connect to their bodies. They are both in decolonise choir and Noorulann is also in F*Choir. They like to experiment with their ranges and sing in their mother tongues of Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.

Travis T
Travis T is a folk-punk singer songwriter. Featured on the compilation album Disastrous Transgenderism, his work can be aggressive, wry, confessional, and sometimes a little bit silly, but is always coloured by his experience as a transgender man. He’s been told that his songs are painful to listen to, but in a good way. He and Barry the Baritone Ukulele are both working on an album called Short Man Syndrome, which will be realeased once they figure out how microphones work. You can email him at travistmusic@proton.me .

June Aspell
June Aspell is a poet, writer and filmmaker from Suffolk, currently operating in London. She has recently been published in Bleet! and Propel Magazine. Her work explores queer alienation, failures of communication, fear, conspiracy, and acute self-flagellation. June Aspell is behind you right now.

Lorenza Restaldi
Lorenza is your everyday office gal in search of an escape through creativity. She’s recently been in 2 theatre productions and is now rediscovering Italian folk song (plus her love for torturing innocent guitars – she promises to take lessons sooner or later)

Big Fat Dad (Lee Downes)
Big Fat Dad is a Drag King known for his camp take on fatherhood and what it means to be a man (sparkles and glitter). He has graced stages such as The National Theatre River Stage, The Mercury Theatre, The Divine and many other venues beginning with ‘The’. He is excited to be a part of the Trans Talent Show and help fundraise for the London Trans Choir.

Nay Oliver Murphy
Nay is an actor and writer, he recently performed at Battersea Arts Centre in his own play ’The Definition’, shortlisted for the Leodis Prize 2026. Other recent credits incl. ‘Yankl And The Beanstalk’ at The Pleasance, ‘Britain’s Last Invasion’ at The Etcetera, ’Tribe of Two’ for BBC Radio and ‘Good Grief’ for Netflix. He trained at Royal Central on BA Acting CDT. His company Speaking of Gender is currently developing training for voice teachers on gender-inclusive practice, and he offers consultancy to playwrights who want to include trans narratives. He misses his musical theatre days as a teenager (now utilised in his acapella group ’SOUND’), and he can’t wait to perform a trans cover of ‘She Used To Be Mine’ for you at the talent show.

Afton Aitkenhead
Afton is a maths tutor with a degree in acting who enjoys dancing in their free time. Their favourite dance styles are contemporary, ballet and street and they love choreographing new work.

Fiona Chan
Fiona was born in China, grew up in then-British Hong Kong, and studied and settled in Britain. She transitioned 7 years ago, and singing as woman is the centre piece of her feminine identity. She is a novice full-time amateur learner solo singer, having started just over a year ago, and has been a grateful pupil of Stephen’s for just under. Learning to sing well is all she does, day and night, every day. This show is her 3rd public solo performance, after a couple of entries as competitor in music festivals. Fiona will be accompanied by Pauline Siddons.
Fiona will be singing ‘Afterwards’, in Mandarin. Translation here

K.C. Finn
K.C. Finn (he/him) is a multidisciplinary storyteller, actor and proud trans creative. His work centres on uncovering the conversations we have with ourselves when we think nobody is listening: saying the quiet part out loud for those who need to hear it. As drag king Mr Brake Down, he graces stages across the country hosting, singing and spreading queer joy with his band, and spends what little free time he has aboard his narrowboat, the Doom & Glitter.

Loïc Valley
Loïc Valley is a Swiss Musical Theatre performer with a BA in acting and currently training at Mountview in the MA Musical Theatre program. They’ve performed in many different shows in Switzerland doing a lot of improv in many different forms, theatre, musical theatre and performance. They also are a teacher, teaching improv since more than ten years throughout Switzerland, France, Belgium and Canada.
They love to read a book (bonus point if it has dragons or hot takes about queerness in it), sing a song (as you may notice when you will come to the show where they will sing) and go to the Tate (they have a preference for Britain over Modern because they get lost in Modern most of the time).

Willow Marler (they/she) is a transgender comedian who spends most of their time offstage as JK Rowling’s Sleep Paralysis Demon. They identify as transfem non-binary, which mainly involves feeling like a woman if the toilet queue is shorter. Living with cystic fibrosis, Willow also identifies as disabled, which is handy if both the ladies and gents toilets have equally long queues.

Carey and Al
Carey (she/her) is a lighting designer who would rather be on a tennis court than in the theatre. When she’s not eating, sleeping, lighting or loving, she’s hitting forehand winners and double-faulting her way to losses. Al (they/them) is a theatre-maker, stage manager and aspiring food grower who loves all things DIY. They work with queer artists and young people on community projects, but their true passion is hauling sets on the tube. Carey and Al love singing together and being together #t4t

Daisy Rushton
Daisy has been a singer since age 10. She has performed many times at the Festival Hall, about 10 times at the Albert Hall, in one production at the Royal Opera House, and toured to New Zealand, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Germany, and Japan.
Opera is a particular passion, and she has sung in more than 10 productions as of 2026.
Her favourite composers are Benjamin Britten and Franz Schubert.
She will be singing Vesti la Giubba and As It Is, Plenty. Lyrics here

poet the jules
poet the jules is a multifaceted performance artist who weaves words like a poet, performs drag like they reinvented gender, and honks like a clown—often simultaneously. Their unique flow serves up serious topics with wit sharp enough to pop a balloon animal and a side of queer fuckery. A permanent fixture of London’s performance scene, they can be found either casting spells on stages across town or tending to their extensive spoon collection.

I’m Ethea, a 26 year old trans woman from Derbyshire who writes musical theatre centring trans stories as a way to bring authentic representation to the arts. I graduated with a masters degree in musical theatre composition and have written 3 musicals, one has been performed in the Nottingham Fringe Festival, and two have been performed in London in 2024/25. I regularly produce trans and women centred charity concerts at the Phoenix arts club celebrating and spotlighting trans talent.
@chrysalis_productions_
And your Host:

Cola Phalquero is a London-based drag queen who pulls traditional drag into unexpected places, such as her one-woman Powerpoint show about not becoming a popstar, finding the feminine in flora and fauna, and durational interactive improvised festival performances. With over a decade of experience behind her she has performed at festivals from Glastonbury, to Berlin, and most queer venues in London but now primarily focuses on her residency at the iconic Royal Vauxhall Tavern’s club night “Push The Button”.
Outside of drag, she was also the co-founder and campaign director of Pride Inside UK, a project which sought to bring queer people to billboards across the country during the pandemic, preserving queer visibility during the pandemic despite the community not being able to celebrate pride together during this time. This is now immortalised on Google Arts & Culture. https://artsandculture.google.
